Good morning people! The fresh new Trip 2020 OLDC has come and you may moved. Just before I congratulate brand new champions, I want to discuss specific alter we will be and come up with having coming tournaments.
The largest change is the fact future tournaments is twice each year in place of 4 times per year. I keep in mind that creating charts are harder and you will requires more than they did when the OLDC was initially created. Develop you to definitely providing mappers half a year instead of three months to be hired to the maps will result in far more charts submitted to for every contest, and therefore the newest charts was since the top quality since the mappers can would.
Concurrently, we’re going to now need professionals to incorporate the Dissension mark during the their chart submitting posts (that’s, their login name – Perhaps not a nickname – therefore the five numbers shortly after it). This way, we could include users in order to a different station with the SRB2 Formal Discord Host intent on answering the questions relating to the fresh tournament. So it channel could also be used to save contest team right up so far to the repairs to your charts following the submitting deadline has gone by. We hope this is certainly simpler than just sending lead texts in order to competition staff out of eg subject areas, because the personal staff members aren’t usually on the internet and/or accessible to assist. (You can also disregard which unless you enjoys a dissension membership, but not.)
